About the position

As a Cloud Database Engineer III, you will be responsible for the setup and ongoing health of relational and non-relational databases within the company. This role requires advanced experience with open systems infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, and various database systems including MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL. A passion for cloud database engineering and a focus on growth and improvement is essential as the company modernizes its systems.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining database software
• Installing and testing upgrades and patches
• Building database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions
• Designing and documenting database architecture
• Developing database utilities and automated reporting
• Analyzing and sustaining capacity and performance requirements

Requirements

• Associate degree in Computer Science or related IT field
• 5+ years' experience in technology and software implementation/design
• 5+ years' experience in database administration and architecture within an open systems infrastructure
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
