Cloud Database Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support project teams and business partners by creating and managing multiple database environments and cloud environments
• Monitor and troubleshoot databases and tooling
• Provide user access while maintaining security best practices
• Following SDLC for all database and code changes
• Participate in an on-call rotation with other team members

Requirements

• 3+ yrs. of professional Database development experience
• 3+ yrs of Python or C# experience
• Gitlab or Github experience
• Computer Science or related degree
• Detail oriented, with the ability to document processes and procedures
• Experience with at least 2 of: Sql Server, Postgres, Mongo, MySql.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Orchestration technology experience

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS or Azure, especially RDS, ECS and EC2
• CICD workflow experience
• Familiarity with various data technologies
• Familiarity with ML technologies
