About the position

As a Cloud DevOps Champion at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will leverage your extensive experience in cloud technologies to support clients in modernizing their IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cloud architects and engineers to design, develop, and manage cloud solutions, utilizing a GitOps-based framework and container technologies like Kubernetes. Your expertise will be crucial in driving DevSecOps maturity and ensuring the successful deployment of cloud-native platforms.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cloud architects and engineers to design and develop cloud solution components.
• Utilize a GitOps-based framework to create and manage container applications.
• Drive DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, and monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in CI/CD pipeline failures or latency.
• Develop enterprise cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Employ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approaches to manage cloud environments using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Create and improve automation scripts across multiple technical stacks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in developing tools and processes for DevSecOps maturity.
• 8+ years of experience troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues.
• 8+ years of experience working with Linux and network configuration.
• Experience consulting with leadership teams on SRE improvements.
• Experience developing cloud-native platforms using Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
• Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD.
• CKAD or CKA Certification.
• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Networking, or Security).
• Security Engineering or Cyber Engineering Certification (Security+).
