About the position

Outlier is seeking experienced software engineers to serve as Cloud DevOps Coding Mentors, providing coding expertise to train AI models. This freelance position allows for flexible hours and remote work, focusing on crafting questions and evaluating code generated by AI models to enhance their performance in coding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Craft and answer questions related to computer science to help train AI models.
• Evaluate and rank code generated by AI models.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or completed a bachelor's degree or higher in computer science at a selective institution.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C++.
• Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
• Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AI or machine learning concepts is a plus.
