In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of AWS engineers with 8 to 10 years of experience in Application DevOps. You will handle the production landscape on AWS and must possess the required skills in Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Groovy, Jenkins, Maven, and uDeploy. Your ability to lead and effectively coordinate with clients both verbally and in writing will be crucial. You will have hands-on experience in the installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DevOps tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, and Nexus. You will also be expected to have experience in containerized deployment and clustering using Kubernetes in public cloud platforms, preferably AWS. Knowledge of SSL and certificate management in production environments is essential. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, maintaining, and securing AWS resources for high availability and production-level systems, as well as setting up and managing AWS security policies. In-depth knowledge of a wide range of AWS services is required, including VPC, Security Groups, Network, Routing, ACLs, ELB, Route 53, IAM, EC2, ASGs, AMI, S3, EBS, RDS, RedShift, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, Trusted Advisor, KMS, CloudFront, and Elastic Beanstalk. Staying up to date with existing and new cloud services to resolve systems requirements and functionalities needed in large sophisticated development projects is a key aspect of this role. You must possess ample knowledge and experience in system automation, deployment, and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of AWS engineers in Application DevOps.
  • Handle production landscape on AWS.
  • Coordinate effectively with clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Install, upgrade, and maintain DevOps tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Sonarqube, and Nexus.
  • Manage containerized deployment and clustering using Kubernetes in public cloud platforms.
  • Design, build, maintain, and secure AWS resources for high availability and production-level systems.
  • Set up and manage AWS security policies.
  • Stay updated with existing and new cloud services to resolve systems requirements.
  • Implement system automation, deployment, and implementation.

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Application DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Groovy, Jenkins, Maven, and uDeploy.
  • Experience in installation, upgrades, and maintenance of DevOps tools.
  • Knowledge of SSL and certificate management in production environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as VPC, Security Groups, ELB, Route 53, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, and more.
  • Experience in containerized deployment and clustering using Kubernetes.
