About the position

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to collaborate with various IT disciplines in developing and maintaining a cloud/hosting strategy aimed at mitigating cyber risks. The role involves working closely with Cloud Architecture and Operations teams to support client objectives and challenges, as well as implementing cybersecurity COTS solutions with a focus on next-generation security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement automated deployment and patching systems for an AWS-based shared services platform.
• Develop solutions that support innovation initiatives in data analysis, process optimization, and machine learning.
• Assist users with environment setup, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Coordinate and communicate proactively with various project teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience.
• Certifications in cloud/information systems security.
• Experience in DevSecOps, including CI/CD automation and hands-on with AWS Glue for ETL processes and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ansible/Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Experience designing and deploying applications with AWS CDK and managing container solutions on Kubernetes or Amazon ECS.
• AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification.
