About the position

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in deploying and managing cloud-based solutions, particularly focusing on the Kore.ai platform. This position requires a deep understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, along with the ability to design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems. You will be responsible for automating deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that applications perform optimally and reliably in cloud environments. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging cloud resources to enhance application performance and reliability, while also ensuring compliance with security best practices and industry standards. In this role, you will lead a team of 6-8 members, guiding them in deploying Kore.ai contact center solutions and chatbots across various environments. You will collaborate closely with development, QA, and customer support teams to ensure smooth operations and provide technical support to both internal teams and external clients. Continuous improvement will be a key focus, as you will identify areas for enhancement in deployment and maintenance processes, staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and chatbot technologies. Your responsibilities will also include conducting regular security audits, implementing proactive measures to maintain system health, and troubleshooting issues related to chatbot functionality and performance. Responsibilities

  • Deploy Kore.ai contact center solutions and chatbots across various environments.
  • Automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the deployed solutions on AWS platforms.
  • Monitor the performance and health of Kore.ai chatbots and contact center solutions using tools like Splunk, Honeycomb, and Prometheus.
  • Implement proactive measures to maintain system health and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to chatbot functionality and performance.
  • Work closely with development, QA, and customer support teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of chatbots.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external clients as needed.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement new features using Agile methodologies.
  • Implement security best practices to protect chatbot and contact center data.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
  • Identify areas for improvement in deployment and maintenance processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and chatbot technologies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for deployment processes and maintenance procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, particularly with Kore.ai platform.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining contact center solutions and chatbots.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI.
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS and Azure.
  • Expertise in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like AWS ECS, ECR, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Honeycomb, and Prometheus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or chatbot development are a plus.
