About The Position

• Ability to interact with senior leadership and high-level military and civilian personnel.

• ABFT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct laboratory operations and supervise analysts, technicians, and administrative support personnel.
• Introduce ideas for method development and improvement.
• Implement research and method development ideas post completion.
• Perform review of analytical data and make decisions based on scientific evidence.
• Provide screening and confirmation data, quantitative data, and corrective action measures.
• Participate in research and method development programs as an analyst.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the military drug testing community.
• Lead research and analytical projects and supervise junior personnel.
• Schedule personnel and equipment resources for laboratory operations.
• Chair research teams and develop research improvements.
