About the position

As a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will play a crucial role in developing, managing, and securing a container platform tailored to meet client needs. This position involves architecting and deploying solutions that facilitate collaboration among developers, data scientists, and research institutions, leveraging cloud capabilities to create innovative data modeling solutions. Your expertise in Kubernetes and microservices architecture will be essential in supporting various stakeholders and ensuring the security and efficiency of multi-tenant environments using zero trust security practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a container management platform that meets client needs.
• Architect and deploy solutions for developers and data scientists.
• Support the deployment, management, and security of CDC Kubernetes environments.
• Utilize CI/CD tooling to automate deployment processes.
• Implement enterprise security principles at scale.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with architecting, deploying, and securing applications on Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps.
• 3+ years of experience using Terraform or CI/CD (IaC) tooling to deploy Azure or AWS services.
• 3+ years of experience with PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting for automation.
• Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of cloud networking concepts including virtual networks and security groups.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Prometheus applications.
• Experience with log aggregation tools like Splunk or Loki.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes security constructs.
• Azure or AWS Cloud and HashiCorp certifications.
