About the position

The Cloud DevOps Engineer role focuses on collaborating with application teams to design and implement AWS deployment architectures, ensuring that cloud operational requirements are met while adhering to security standards. The position involves hands-on leadership of offshore delivery teams and requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Collaboration with Application Teams to deliver AWS Deployment Architecture Diagrams
• Identification and refinement of Jira Backlog Items for Platform Cloud Infra Delivery
• Engagement of Application Team for Cloud Operational Requirements (i.e. sizing, performance)
• Engagement of Cloud FinMgmt Lead for Cost Estimations and Solution Tagging Requirements
• Engagement of InfoSec Leads to ensure Cloud Security Standards are being met
• Coordination of Dependencies delivery from external teams
• Collaborate with Platform & Application Leads for Delivery Estimation and Timeline Commitments
• Participate and Represent Value Platform in Project Meetings
• Hand-On Leadership of Offshore Delivery Teams to ensure timeline commitments are met
• Identification and Remediation of Risks or escalation when appropriate

Requirements

• Experience using Agile Tools: Jira, Confluence
• Experience using Value Tracfone DevOps Platforms: Jenkins, Artifactory
• Experience with SCM Development Tools (IDE's, Git commands)
• Required Infra as Code Hand-on Experience provisioning & supporting Cloud Infrastructure using Infra as Code Platforms: Ansible, Terraform
• Experience developing OS Task Automation: Windows Powershell, Unix Bash, Python (optional)
• Required AWS Solution Architect
• Detailed knowledge of AWS Services and Cloud Deployment Patterns
• Experience Creating Detailed AWS Deployment Architecture Diagrams (Lucid Charts/Draw.io)

• Experience with SonarQube
