About the position

Zoom is seeking Cloud DevOps Engineers to join the Zoom for Government organization. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while implementing best practices for CI/CD, IaC, logging, monitoring, and automation. The engineers will collaborate with international teams to ensure optimal platform performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Driving automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance system efficiency.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of production services.
• Implementing and maintaining deployment pipelines to support continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to infrastructure and application performance.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure to support production workloads.
• Collaborating with compliance teams to ensure that infrastructure and processes adhere to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 4+ years in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or DevOps Engineer role.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Argo CD).
• Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Able to participate in on-call shifts and incident management and work after hours/weekends for application releases/deployments.
