About the position

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Booz Allen, you will play a crucial role in managing, administering, supporting, and enhancing cloud environments. Your primary focus will be on ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution within these environments. You will apply basic principles, theories, and concepts, leveraging your limited industry knowledge to solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. More complex issues will be referred to higher levels, and you will work under direct supervision to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently. In this position, you will be responsible for the development of tools and processes that drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity. This includes automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and pushing releases across various environments. You will work with modern software development practices and integrate common cloud developer services to enhance the overall functionality and performance of cloud applications. Your experience with scripting languages will be essential for automating processes, and you will utilize helm-based package deployments to streamline operations. You will also be tasked with developing cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes and containerized workflows, while provisioning traditional VM host-based resources in a cloud environment. Collaborating with a team, you will create solutions to complex problems, ensuring that cloud design principles such as security, scalability, and performance are adhered to. A TS/SCI clearance is required for this role, and you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree to qualify for the position.

  • Experience developing cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes and containerized workflows.
  • Experience provisioning traditional VM host-based resourcing in a cloud environment.
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud design principles, including security, scalability, and performance.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
