This position will focus on creating and maintaining containers as well as enabling container deployments and implementations of serverless architectures within AWS. Responsibilities

• Create and maintain containers for deployments.
• Implement serverless architectures within AWS.
• Utilize AWS resources such as EC2, S3, CloudFormation stacks, and RDS.
• Develop and maintain CloudFormation scripts.
• Engage in Object Oriented Programming.
• Work with continuous integration technologies like Jenkins and GitLab/GitHub.
• Interact in a Linux environment, including Bash scripting.
• Create Jenkins Pipelines and understand CI/CD best practices.
• Utilize programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, Groovy, or Bash shell scripting.
• Assist in architectural best practices.

Requirements

• Detailed experience with AWS and its main resources (EC2, S3, CloudFormation, RDS).
• Expert or mastery level knowledge of work area, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., RDS, Oracle, Postgres, MySQL).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment best practices.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with application platforms such as Spring Boot or Angular.
• Familiarity with log analytics tools such as Splunk or ElasticSearch.
• Experience working with containers using Docker or Podman.
• Knowledge of container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes and Mesos.
• Experience in communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management.
• Experience working with Microservices.
• Front end development experience using Angular 10.
• Familiarity with source code management and integration (e.g., GitHub/GitLab).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to manage competing priorities and bring order to ambiguous scenarios.
