This role joins SpearTip, the cybersecurity consulting segment within Zurich Resilience Solutions. We are driven to protect our clients from the ever-changing threat actors and become the gold standard in detecting zero-day vulnerabilities. This hybrid role joins a team in the St Louis, MO office. As a Manager, Development Operations you will supervise the daily workload of a team of DevOps personnel responsible for the technology area of systems function, which includes coding procedures, solution delivery, and cloud services operations. You will also evaluate or research the economics of alternative technology or methods of process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage DevOps team, assigning and monitoring work efforts to ensure quality and efficiency of work.
- Plan, build, test, deploy, and monitor technology solutions.
- Review and approve code through the delivery pipeline.
- Monitor AWS Cloud systems health and analyze cost trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 or more years of experience in an IT support area
- OR Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in an IT support area
- OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in an IT support area
- OR Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in an IT support area
Nice-to-haves
- Bachelor's Degree in an IT discipline
- People management experience or leadership experience
- 3 years of direct experience in technical support operations (incident response, application support, development operations, infrastructure operations)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff
- Experience using analytic platforms to organize and correlate large volumes of log data
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
