About the position

The Cloud DevOps Manager at Mass General Brigham is responsible for overseeing the Cloud Platform team, which handles the architecture, engineering, and operations of cloud services across the organization. This role involves managing a team of DevOps engineers to deliver and maintain cloud functionalities, ensuring effective collaboration with various IT service teams, and driving innovation in cloud operations. The manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the capabilities of cloud platforms while fostering a culture of personal development and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Cloud DevOps including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Microservices, Infrastructure as Code, Monitoring and Logging, Communication and Collaboration.
  • Manage all Cloud infrastructure-related issues.
  • Exhibit a high-level end-to-end understanding of web application design, construction, deployment, and delivery.
  • Maintain proper communication with engineers in the team.
  • Create and define monitoring operational standards with configurations.
  • Evaluate new tools and technology to improve product speed, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Enhance the team's efforts without difficulties.
  • Plan, build, and configure test solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science or a related discipline or 10 years related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience converting business requirements into workable solutions as a software developer.
  • 5+ years of programming proficiency with many languages.
  • 5+ years of experience leading technical projects, or technical components of enterprise projects.
  • 5+ years of leading teams.
  • ITIL Certification a strong plus.
  • DevOps/Manage Certification(s).
