About the position

The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer / Platform Developer role focuses on deploying and provisioning IT services across various networks, emphasizing containerization, automation, and infrastructure monitoring. This position plays a crucial role in the migration to the MI IC ITE Cloud, aiming to enhance the delivery of IT services and leverage intelligence data for mission requirements. The engineer will work with both the IC Government Cloud and commercial cloud services like AWS, ensuring security compliance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deployments and provisioning on all networks, including containerization and automation.
• Script infrastructure and integrate services for monitoring and maintenance.
• Develop hardened machine images (e.g., AMI/Azure VM) and ensure STIG compliance.
• Plan and lead major technology assignments and evaluate performance results.
• Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience implementing security principles and administering IT systems.
• 3+ years of experience with Linux operating systems, containers, AWS, and network monitoring.
• 6+ years of administering IT systems may substitute for an academic degree.
• 1+ year of experience in provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of software and infrastructure-as-code in a DevSecOps environment using tools like Terraform.
• AWS certification within the first 30 days of employment.
