About the position

Our client in the Fintech industry is seeking a skilled Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support the transition of applications to SaaS and Cloud platforms. This role is critical in developing autonomous Dev/Sec Ops pipelines, ensuring application upgrades, and managing patching processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and testing Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts, as well as conducting unit and infrastructure tests to ensure the reliability and security of cloud applications. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of cloud technologies and DevSecOps practices. Additionally, the role includes participation in an on-call support rotation, which is essential for maintaining the operational integrity of the deployed applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop autonomous Dev/Sec Ops pipelines for cloud applications.
• Manage application upgrades and patching processes.
• Create and test Ansible playbooks, Terraform scripts, and Packer scripts.
• Conduct unit and infrastructure tests to ensure application reliability and security.
• Participate in on-call support rotation for operational support.

Requirements

• 7 years of Cloud DevSecOps experience.
• 3 years as a DevOps Practitioner.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline build-out and deployment using Harness and Terraform.
• Experience deploying cloud-native applications using OpenShift or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficient in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Git, Ansible, Terraform, and ServiceNow.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with Packer and ServiceNow.
• AWS Certification is a plus.
• Experience with C#.NET is beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to learn new tools quickly.
