About the position

The Cloud DevSecOps Engineer at T-Rex Solutions will play a crucial role in supporting the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) by providing enterprise architecture, data, and engineering services. This position focuses on cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and systems integration, ensuring the command's transition into commercial cloud services and future capabilities. The engineer will work independently or within a small team to develop and deliver enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, and cybersecurity solutions, while also providing operational support for enterprise architecture tools.

Responsibilities

• Work independently or in a small team setting
• Apply knowledge of ICAM and ICAM processes such as SAML, Oauth, and Federated Identities
• Utilize knowledge of Government Cloud (AWS GovCloud, etc.)
• Demonstrate motivation, self-learning, and technical inquisitiveness
• Maintain at least one current AWS Certification
• Understand AWS including AWS Command Line (CLI), current AWS product offerings and services, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques
• Provide systems administration and issue resolution for AWS
• Demonstrate proficiency with one or more scripting or programming languages

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Secret Security Clearance
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or a related role, focusing on delivering security solutions to clients
• CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required prior to hire

Nice-to-haves

• DoD.8570/8140 IAM III Certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc.) preferred
