Responsibilities

• Design and develop a suite of web applications.
• Implement and maintain Java-based components and interfaces.
• Support the development and deployment of serverless applications using AWS services.
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform scripts.
• Assist with setting up CI/CD pipelines and release management using Gitlab.

Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in designing and implementing technology solutions using cloud technology.
• Proven experience in designing and building cloud-native Java applications.
• Hands-on experience with Java EE platforms and RESTful web services.
• Strong understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design using design patterns.
• At least 5 years of AWS cloud experience with proficiency in services like S3, Lambda, API Gateway, SNS, and SQS.
• Experience in developing serverless applications using AWS Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Proficient in JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and NoSQL databases, preferably DynamoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD processes and tools, particularly Gitlab.

Nice-to-haves

• AWS Certified Developer Associate (preferred)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (preferred)
