About the position

The Cloud Developer, Mid role at Booz Allen involves creating cloud-based technical architectures to meet client needs, particularly in law enforcement. Responsibilities

• Develop cloud-based solutions for law enforcement clients.
• Support and enhance large cloud-based applications for mission-critical operations.
• Inform strategy and design for cloud migration processes.
• Recommend tools and solutions based on research of current environments.
• Lead a team to help clients overcome challenges in the cloud.
• Utilize Terraform, Elasticsearch, and other technologies to develop critical systems.

Requirements

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including bash.
• Programming experience in Python and Java.
• Experience designing and automating cloud resources provisioning using Terraform or Vault.
• Knowledge of platform as a service technologies, including Kubernetes.
• Understanding of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS.
• Top Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying enterprise cloud-native solutions, or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with continuous automation across multiple technical stacks.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues for GitLab CI/CD pipeline failures.
• Experience with containerization tools, including Docker.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience applying cloud security principles.
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Master's degree.
