About the position

The position involves working with U.S. Intelligence Community agencies to implement innovative cloud computing solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The role requires strong technical skills, consultative abilities, and a passion for educating and training clients on cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will engage in deep architecture discussions and design exercises to create innovative solutions while maintaining a focus on security best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Intelligence Community customers to design and build cloud solutions.
  • Educate and train clients on application architectures and integration approaches.
  • Participate in deep-dive education and design exercises to create innovative solutions on AWS.
  • Maintain and enhance technical skills to contribute to architecture discussions.
  • Work with AWS teams to deliver the right solutions and drive feature innovation based on customer needs.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications or equivalent education experience.
  • 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python.
  • Technical degree or equivalent experience.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Experience in technology/software sales consulting or equivalent skills.
  • Professional experience architecting/deploying/operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Experience managing highly available data center operations with responsibility for infrastructure robustness, including networking, server hardware, and storage.
  • Understanding of Federal Government application, server, and network security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
