About the position
The Cloud Developer (SME) role is a senior position focused on leading large-scale data analysis projects and designing cloud-based applications. The position requires a Top Secret clearance and involves planning and implementing cloud architectures, as well as automating cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices. The role is integral to ensuring that applications and tools meet the operational needs of the enterprise, with a strong emphasis on data discovery, analytics, and visualization.
Responsibilities
- Lead large scale data analysis projects.
- Design and develop cloud architectures across multiple enclaves.
- Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
- Architect the migration of applications to the cloud.
- Facilitate the adoption of cloud capabilities across the organization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Active Top Secret clearance.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Apache Niagra Files (NiFi).
- Familiarity with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture.
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch and Apache TIKA.
- AWS SQS experience.
- AWS Associate and above certifications.
