We are searching for a Top Secret cleared Cloud Developer (SME) to join our team in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be part of an organization dedicated to accelerating operations through data and new analytical insights. The entire section leverages SAFe agile methodologies and works to provide the enterprise with tools and applications that assist with operational data discovery, data exploitation, data analytics, and data visualization tools. You will collaborate closely with the entire enterprise to ensure that the applications and tools developed meet or exceed the needs of the mission. As a Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks that enable platform as a service (PaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), software as a service (SaaS), and data as a service (DaaS). You will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and analyze applications to make recommendations on what platforms can be moved, migrated, or deployed into a cloud environment. Additionally, you will provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-site premise services. Your responsibilities will also include developing and implementing cloud applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud, debugging cloud stacks, managing policies for the use of cloud services, and establishing a secure cloud environment while ensuring appropriate availability and uptime design. You will work independently to design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software, providing technical and management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives will be a key part of your role as a Subject Matter Expert, where your qualifications and expertise will be exceptional and highly unique. You will perform functions that include initiating, supervising, and developing requirements from a project's inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs. You will provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff, along with detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission-critical challenges. Consulting with clients to define needs or problems, supervising studies, and leading surveys to collect and analyze data will be essential to provide advice and recommend solutions. Your decision-making and domain knowledge will have a critical impact on overall project implementation, and you may supervise others as needed.
