About the position

The Cloud Developer position is focused on designing and developing cloud-based solutions, particularly in building vendor-agnostic SaaS products. The role requires extensive experience in software development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot, and involves working with microservices architectures and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define system architecture and workflows, ensuring scalability and performance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the architecture and underlying system design for scalable platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to identify problems and explore solutions.
• Design new workflows and identify gaps to build efficient processes.
• Produce software artifacts and write high-quality code for production.
• Solicit and provide feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Work with geographically diversified teams to execute projects.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong skills in Java and Spring Boot microservices.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and processes.
• Experience with building cloud vendor agnostic SaaS products.
• In-depth understanding of microservices architectures and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, Openstack).
• Experience with containerization in Kubernetes ecosystem.
• Familiarity with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, NATS) and caching solutions (Redis, Memcached).
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with OAuth, OpenID, and SAML based authentication.
