About the position

The Cloud Developer role at Barclays Services LLC involves designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based contact center solutions. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based contact center solutions.
• Deliver solutions within a DevOps environment with a focus on automation of testing and deployment.
• Select and apply appropriate design patterns and frameworks based on business needs and delivery priorities.
• Write code and automated unit test cases, and participate in design and code reviews.
• Produce effort estimates for assigned work and learn the existing Legacy Java application.
• Follow Agile development processes and deliver production-grade code with excellent quality.
• Oversee one Cloud Developer.

Requirements

• Experience in developing high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities and protect sensitive data.
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and devise solution strategies.
• Experience in implementing effective unit testing practices to ensure code design, readability, and reliability.
