About the position

The Cloud Developer at Cayuse Technologies is responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks to enable various service models such as PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. This role requires a strong focus on automation, cloud migration strategies, and the design and development of cloud applications, ensuring a secure and efficient cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
• Analyze applications to identify migration opportunities to cloud environments.
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud services.
• Develop and implement cloud applications, migrating existing on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of cloud services.
• Establish a secure cloud environment and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design.
• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.

Requirements

• 5+ years in IaaS/PaaS software development, specializing in Kubernetes cluster management using cloud platforms.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in open-source frameworks.
• 5+ years dedicated to architecture and design.
• 5+ years working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
• 1+ years of leadership experience leading cross-functional technical teams.
