About the position

The Cloud Developer role at PDDN involves designing and developing cloud-based software solutions, focusing on building vendor-agnostic SaaS products. The position requires extensive experience in software development, particularly with Java and Spring Boot, and a deep understanding of microservices architecture and cloud technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define system architecture and workflows, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based software solutions.
• Build vendor-agnostic SaaS products.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define problems and explore solutions.
• Define and evolve the architecture and underlying system design for scalability.
• Produce software artifacts and write high-quality code for production.
• Solicit and provide feedback from a wide range of stakeholders.
• Make decisions on cloud characteristics and architecture.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot microservices, and Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of microservices architectures and cloud technologies.
• Experience building APIs/services on top of message queues like RabbitMQ, Kafka, and NATS.
• Familiarity with caching technologies like Redis and Memcached.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with OAuth, OpenID, and SAML based authentication.
• Ability to work with geographically diversified teams.
