About the position

The Cloud Developer position at Cornerstone Defense involves leveraging advanced cloud technologies to provide end-to-end solutions for the U.S. Government's Intelligence, Defense, and Space sectors. The role requires a strong background in cloud services, particularly AWS, and the ability to develop and manage applications in a secure environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and manage AWS resources, including provisioning EC2 instances and writing Lambda functions.
• Create and manage S3 buckets and ensure proper IAM policies for resource authorization.
• Deploy AWS applications using the Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Build and deploy containerized applications.
• Maintain and programmatically work with search engines such as ElasticSearch or AWS's OpenSearch.
• Create and manage SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Utilize geo-spatial software and programming packages effectively.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Demonstrated experience with Python programming.
• Experience with AWS services and resource management.
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control.
• Experience deploying applications using AWS CDK.
• Knowledge of containerization and deployment of applications.
• Experience with geo-spatial software and data formats.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administrator.
• Familiarity with non-AWS cloud services like Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.
