About the position

The Cloud Development Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions, primarily utilizing Azure and GCP. This position requires a blend of cloud experience, systems engineering, automation, software development, and platform engineering skills to support critical applications and enhance cloud observability and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure and GCP.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code for cloud environments.
• Automate business processes and integrate systems for improved efficiency.
• Create microservices and manage data design for both structured and unstructured databases.
• Support critical applications in multi-region architectures and ensure cloud resiliency.
• Develop reference applications and materials to support learning paths for cloud technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure and AKS.
• Strong background in systems engineering and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with automation engineering and systems integration.
• Proficiency in software development, particularly in microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud observability tools and critical application support.
• Knowledge of modern web application architectures and API-driven services.
