About the position

The Cloud Development Manager at Deloitte is responsible for leading the implementation of cloud-native platforms and Agile application development technologies. This role involves coordinating enhancements and deployment efforts, providing insights for client solutions, and working closely with developer teams to create automated CI/CD pipelines. The position is pivotal in shaping the future of global enterprises through innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead/support implementation of cloud-native platforms and Agile application development technologies.
  • Work closely with developer teams to create an automated CI/CD pipeline.
  • Implement build, deployment, and monitoring standards for the client.
  • Deliver end-to-end automation of deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management in a cloud environment.
  • Create scripts and/or templates to automate and/or bootstrap infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
  • Build and configure delivery environments supporting CI/CD tools using an Agile delivery methodology.
  • Provide knowledge of container management tools (e.g. Docker, OpenShift) and container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes).
  • Understand static code analysis, unit testing, and test-driven development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of software development or testing experience within an Agile environment.
  • 5+ years of knowledge and experience with container management tools (Docker, OpenShift).
  • 5+ years of experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, CloudFormation).
  • 5+ years with modern build experience tools (Maven) and cloud integration systems (Jenkins).
  • 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (Java) and familiarity with source control system (Git).
  • 5+ years of experience with static code analysis, unit testing, and test-driven development.
