About the position
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with over 8 years of experience to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud-based solutions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain cloud infrastructure while ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Automate deployment processes using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Rancher, Jenkins, Helm.
- Implement monitoring tools, analyze performance, and optimize cloud services for efficiency and cost.
- Ensure systems meet security and compliance standards, implementing best practices for cloud security.
- Work with development, operations, and security teams to support cloud-native applications and services.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud systems.
- Maintain detailed documentation of architecture, configurations, and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and storage concepts.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, CloudWatch, Dynatrace).
Nice-to-haves
- Relevant certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Engineer are a plus.
