About the position

Responsibilities

  • Assist in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments
  • Support the migration of existing applications and workloads to the cloud
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement scalable, resilient cloud solutions
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform
  • Assist in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications
  • Monitor cloud resources and help optimize performance and costs
  • Ensure security and compliance by implementing cloud security best practices and controls
  • Troubleshoot cloud-related issues and provide timely resolutions
  • Work with teams to document cloud architectures and operational procedures
  • Stay informed of cloud platform updates and new services to leverage within projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure
  • Understanding cloud architecture principles, including computing, storage, networking, and security
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., DNS, VPNs, VPCs)
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible or Puppet
  • Experience with monitoring and performance optimization of cloud resources
  • AWS or Azure certifications are a plus

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
