About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading the deployment, configuration, and automation of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions. This role requires a professional with over 7 years of experience in compute infrastructure management and Microsoft Azure cloud services, focusing on transforming on-premises applications to cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and automation of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Plan, design, and transform on-premises applications to cloud-based applications.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain compute resources on Azure Cloud.
• Develop and implement new processes and document them.
• Deploy and configure various Azure platform services including App services, Web app, Function App, Logic App, and more.
• Create and deploy Azure Resource Manager Templates and Bicep.
• Oversee systems management and provisioning, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures for operations.
• Develop tools and processes to automate manual procedures and increase efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to production change control policies and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compute infrastructure management and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in Azure Engineering (IaaS and PaaS).
• Strong experience with Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
• Experience in deployment, configuration, and production support of Azure services.
• Knowledge of API Security, Container Security, and Azure Cloud Security.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure Container Instances.
• Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery and Azure Migrate.
• Knowledge of Azure Automation and Azure SQL.
