About the position

The Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for leading the deployment, configuration, and automation of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions. This role requires a competent professional with over 7 years of experience in compute infrastructure management and Microsoft Azure cloud services, focusing on transforming on-premises applications to cloud-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deployment, configuration, and automation of Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Plan, design, and transform on-premises applications to cloud-based applications.
• Deploy and configure various Azure platform services including App services, Web app, Function App, Logic App, and more.
• Develop and implement new processes and document them.
• Create and deploy Azure Resource Manager Templates and Bicep.
• Oversee systems management and provisioning, including troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Ensure adherence to production change control policies and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Lead teams and cross-team meetings to ensure project success.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in compute infrastructure management and Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services deployment and configuration.
• Expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Experience with API Security, Container Security, and Azure Cloud Security.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure Site Recovery, Azure Migrate, and Azure Automation.
• Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service and Azure SQL.
• Familiarity with developing cloud automation tailored to customer needs.
