About the position

Cintas is seeking a Cloud Engineer Level 2 to focus on cloud platform-based applications and integrations. This role involves working on complex IT projects, providing technical expertise, and optimizing cloud architectures, particularly within the Google Cloud Platform. The engineer will also be responsible for staying updated on trends and best practices in cloud technology.

Responsibilities

• Designing, prototyping, implementing, supporting, and optimizing Google Cloud Platform applications and related business processes in Cintas
• Documenting technical specifications implemented as per cloud best practices
• Providing technical knowledge on project development efforts
• Learning new skills in cloud computing, Gen AI, and IoT space
• Performing testing based on business requirement understanding

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Information Technology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in application development in frontend technologies such as Java Script
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency with the implementation and support of cloud solutions
• Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical teams

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in React.js development libraries
• Experience working in cloud platforms and associated certifications
• Understanding of REST APIs and how to use them in practice
• Knowledge of developing web-based user interfaces
