About the position

The Judge Group Inc. is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their Workplace Investing Data Engineering and Exchange AI Delivery Chapter team. This position is based in Smithfield, R.I. and Westlake, TX, and is a dynamic role that combines Cloud, DevOps, and Data Engineering. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementing and enhancing technical solutions for an intelligent unified answer platform product. This role requires collaboration with development teams and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy full-stack AI search and process automation solutions. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on an innovative agile development team, focusing on building and deploying high business value AI-powered solutions that improve operations for associates. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with engineering and development teams to evaluate and provide optimal cloud solutions, manage cloud infrastructures, and ensure resource utilization, optimization, and cost efficiency. The role involves hands-on work with AWS cloud services, scripting, CI/CD processes, and machine learning technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure management, security, data, and AI pipeline technologies, as well as experience in writing code and working with various development tools.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enhance technical solutions for an intelligent unified answer platform product.
• Collaborate with development teams and data scientists to design, develop, and deploy full-stack AI search and process automation solutions.
• Manage cloud infrastructures, focusing on resource utilization, optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate and provide optimal cloud solutions in partnership with engineering and development teams.
• Work with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies, including RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, and Airflow.
• Utilize infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Python, Ansible, and CloudFormation Templates (CFT).
• Write code in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Implement CI/CD processes and tools, including Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker/Containers, Helm charts, and Kubernetes.
• Engage in the machine learning model development lifecycle, particularly with AWS-SageMaker.
• Monitor and alert using tools such as Datadog and Splunk.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on development experience with AWS cloud provider.
• Experience working with AWS infrastructure components such as S3, CFTs, EC2, EKS, and IAM.
• Proven ability to manage cloud infrastructures focusing on resource utilization, optimization, and cost efficiency.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with engineering and development teams for optimal cloud solutions.
• Experience with security, data, and AI pipeline technologies including RDS/Postgres, Snowflake, and Airflow.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Python, Ansible, and CFT.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Groovy, and Bash.
• Strong experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker/Containers, Helm charts, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with machine learning and model development lifecycle, particularly AWS-SageMaker, is highly preferred.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools such as Datadog and Splunk is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
