About the position

As a Cloud Developer Senior at GDIT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of cloud solutions that support the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Information Technology Services (CITS) program. Your primary responsibility will be to design, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions across various impact levels, ensuring that our clients can navigate the complexities of modern technology with confidence. You will collaborate closely with the Cloud Management Office to identify use cases, develop innovative solutions, and facilitate the migration of workloads to cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will also be instrumental in maintaining existing infrastructure deployed in diverse cloud environments, helping to shape the future of cloud-based infrastructure in support of USCENTCOM. In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge and experience to contribute to the transformation of our clients' operations, ensuring that their missions are uninterrupted and their systems are secure. Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions for multiple impact levels.
  • Work with the Cloud Management Office to identify use cases, develop solutions, and migrate workloads to cloud infrastructure.
  • Maintain existing infrastructure deployed in various cloud environments across USCENTCOM Joint Directorates.
  • Help shape the future of cloud-based infrastructure in support of USCENTCOM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, cloud computing, or related field of study.
  • 3+ years of related experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems.
  • Experience with the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise environments as Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Ability to develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
  • Ability to troubleshoot enterprise architecture on Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
  • Position requires Security+CE and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
