About the position

The Cloud Engineer position is a project-based role focused on utilizing Microsoft Azure to implement and manage cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a Terraform expert, demonstrating proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. This role is designed for individuals who are adept at leveraging CI/CD tools to streamline deployment processes and enhance operational efficiency. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud solutions that meet the needs of the organization while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements, particularly in the post-COVID environment in Chicago, IL. Candidates should be prepared to engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality cloud services and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure.
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate cloud deployments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into existing applications.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance and security configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues as they arise.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture.
