About the position

The Cloud IAM Engineer will work within a collaborative team environment focused on developing products and enabling data consumption for end users. This role involves utilizing modern technologies to solve complex problems across various business domains, with a specific emphasis on back-end development, DevOps, ETL, and cloud engineering, particularly with Google Cloud Platform and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with small, autonomous teams to create products and enable data consumption.
• Participate in quarterly hackathons and monthly innovation days to explore new technologies and improve technical skills.
• Manage data lakes, modeling, and cloud accounts associated with various LIMS instances.
• Create a pipeline between AWS and Google Big Query, configuring multiple accounts.
• Investigate and implement new technologies to enhance data lake management, ETL, and reporting capabilities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with NodeJS, Python, Java, SQL.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, and Postgres.
• Proficiency in AWS services including S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS, Codebuild.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Mongo Atlas, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Docker, and Fargate.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services including GBQ and Cloud Data Fusion.
• Experience with stream processing technologies like SNS, SQS, and Kafka.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn new technologies as needed.
• Knowledge of data lakes and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences including business analysts and development teams.
• Self-starter with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, SSIS, and Talend.
• Familiarity with R and MuleSoft.
