About the position
The Cloud Infrastructure/DevOps Lead role is focused on managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This position requires a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and CI/CD processes, with a significant emphasis on infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform. The role is hybrid based in Austin, TX, and is expected to last for 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Design and provision RBAC for user access management.
- Investigate and troubleshoot detailed infrastructure configurations.
- Process and analyze logs in a cloud environment.
- Ensure strong networking practices including IP routing and subnetting.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience with Python, Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, Vault, and Identity Management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud foundational technologies.
- Proficient in CI/CD technology and automation scripting.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating system internals and administration.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
