The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer position is a critical role within our organization, focusing on the design, implementation, and operational support of mission-critical solutions in large-scale environments. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in an enterprise systems operational role, demonstrating a strong background in maintaining, administrating, and supporting computer hardware and operating systems software, including Windows, Unix, Linux, VMware, and ESX. This role requires a deep understanding of converged and hyper-converged ecosystems, as well as the ability to design end-to-end architecture that ensures 99.99% service availability while considering performance and cost factors. In this position, you will work with various public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and Alicloud, and will be responsible for managing operating systems like Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, and CentOS. You will also handle storage solutions, including block storage, object storage, and lifecycle management, while ensuring best practices for backup and recovery are followed. Network virtualization will be a key component of your responsibilities, involving tools like Akamai Global Traffic Management and Elastic Load Balancing Services. Security is paramount in this role, and you will be expected to implement compliance and information assurance measures, utilizing industry-best practices and tools such as Crowdstrike Falcon and Tenable.io. Your experience with various applications frameworks, databases, and middleware products will be essential in delivering technology solutions that meet business needs. The position also requires excellent project planning and management skills, as well as the ability to foster constructive relationships and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
