About the position

The Phoenix Cloud Integrator role involves building big data solutions on enterprise cloud platforms, utilizing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance and focuses on designing and implementing systems rather than just administering them. The role includes collaboration with various stakeholders and maintaining operational systems on classified networks, while most development work can be done at the unclassified level.

Responsibilities

• Build big data solutions on enterprise cloud platforms.
• Design and implement systems using technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Collaborate with application developers for integration and mission SMEs for functionality.
• Maintain operational systems on classified networks.

Requirements

• TS/SCI Clearance Required
• Experience managing a cluster of dozens-to-hundreds of nodes
• Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g. Zookeeper, NameNode, JobTracker)
• Proficiency in Puppet or Ansible
• Familiarity with RPM and YUM

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other hosted platforms
• DevOps experience with Git and Jenkins
• Knowledge of virtualization and/or containerization
• Experience in Cyber Security / Hardening / STIGs
• Automated OS Installation (i.e. Kickstart)
