About the position

The Cloud Migration Engineer role involves assessing applications for cloud migration, designing and architecting cloud solutions, and developing migration strategies. The engineer will integrate on-premises systems with cloud services, configure and manage cloud environments, and implement CI/CD pipelines. This position requires collaboration with teams and providing guidance to junior members while staying current with cloud technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment of existing solutions and infrastructure to migrate to the cloud
• Plan, deliver, and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions using third-party tools and public cloud technologies
• Build clients' cloud platforms, pipelines, and tooling
• Communicate with technical stakeholders and understand relevant engineering methods, tools, and technologies
• Design detailed technical solutions including tools and implementation
• Follow engineering best practices and perform cloud/DevOps engineering work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and integration
• AWS Cloud Associate Certifications
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages
• Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with cloud migration tools and methodologies
• Proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools
• Knowledge of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration platforms
• Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
