Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer to join our team in Reston, VA. This position is critical for supporting our program by managing and optimizing the networking infrastructure across multiple sites. The Cloud Network Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless connectivity to Azure services, utilizing advanced networking technologies and practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, particularly in cloud environments, and will be responsible for overseeing the hardware endpoints that connect to Azure services through clustered ForcePoint Distribution Consoles. This role requires a proactive approach to managing distribution console clusters that link to secure Azure cloud infrastructures, ensuring high availability and security of network services. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Cloud Network Engineer will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in network management and automation. The position may involve occasional travel to various sites to support infrastructure needs and ensure that all networking components are functioning optimally. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the overall success of our cloud networking initiatives, driving improvements and innovations in our network architecture.
