About the position

Akkodis is seeking a skilled professional to manage and operate the entire cloud and on-premises network infrastructure. This role involves implementing and maintaining a hybrid multi-cloud environment, ensuring the network infrastructure is functional and well-maintained according to industry best practices. The position also includes conducting feasibility studies, IT concepts, market research, and vendor evaluations, as well as proactive monitoring of network availability and creating necessary operational documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate the entire cloud and on-premises network infrastructure.
• Manage the network infrastructure for a hybrid multi-cloud environment.
• Conduct projects to ensure the network infrastructure is functional and well-maintained.
• Perform feasibility studies and IT concepts, market research, and vendor evaluations.
• Support proactive monitoring and alerting regarding the availability of the corporate and cloud networks.
• Create all necessary operational documentation for the network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Completed degree in engineering or computer science or a comparable vocational training.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in the design, implementation, and administration of network infrastructures.
• Experience with network operating systems such as Aruba OS-CX and/or Cisco IOS.
• Solid professional experience with Palo Alto Suite and Aviatrix, as well as knowledge of internet routing protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS and/or OSPF, IPSec, VPNs, DNS, SSL) and other network services.
• Experience with OT architectures and Software Defined WAN (SDWAN) deployment is required.
• Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of additional cloud services beyond Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Experience in project management related to network infrastructure.
