This role is pivotal in driving the development and maintenance of high-performance, scalable Cloud Automation solutions. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on development and design, focusing on improving existing systems and creating new automated solutions. The position requires a strong emphasis on CI/CD processes, where the developer will create automated unit tests and implement functional classes and methods. The role also involves participating in an agile development process, fostering constructive working relationships across various teams, and maintaining an awareness of interdependencies that may impact project outcomes. In this position, the developer will utilize KPMG's standard development tools, including Azure DevOps and GitHub, to streamline workflows and enhance productivity. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent experience in Cloud Platform development, particularly with Azure services. A Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is required, along with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C# and Python, and automation scripting. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the developer will need to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders. The role also requires familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, and the ability to perform Infrastructure as Code and automate IT operations tasks in complex compute environments.
