KPMG is seeking a Manager, Cloud Platform Automation Developer to join our Global Information Technology Group, which is part of KPMG International organization. This role is pivotal in providing hands-on development and design of distributed, high-performance, and scalable Cloud Automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating automated unit tests, implementing functional classes and methods, and utilizing automated build and release management processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). The position requires participation in an agile development process, fostering constructive working relationships across various teams, functions, and cultures, while demonstrating KPMG's core values and behaviors. The candidate will also need to maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other team members and their impact on project outcomes. In this role, the developer will utilize KPMG's standard development tools, including Azure DevOps and GitHub, to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent experience in Cloud Platform development, with a strong focus on cloud and Azure services. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or relevant work experience is required. The candidate should possess skilled hands-on experience with programming languages such as C# and Python, as well as automation scripting languages. Responsibilities also include performing Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline Deployments, and automating IT Operations tasks and services in complex compute environments. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the candidate must convey information clearly and meaningfully to stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. Hands-on experience with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, is a must.
