KPMG is seeking a Manager, Cloud Platform Automation Developer to join our Global Information Technology Group, which is part of KPMG International. This role is pivotal in driving the development and design of high-performance, scalable Cloud Automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for hands-on development, including the creation of automated unit tests and the implementation of functional classes and methods. The position requires a strong focus on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, utilizing automated build and release management techniques. In this role, you will participate in an agile development process, collaborating with various teams across the organization. Building constructive working relationships is essential, as you will need to maintain awareness of potential interdependencies with other team members and their impact on project outcomes. You will utilize KPMG's standard development tools, including Azure DevOps and GitHub, to ensure that our cloud solutions are robust and efficient. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of recent experience in Cloud Platform development, with a strong emphasis on cloud and Azure services. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required, along with hands-on experience in programming languages such as C# and Python. The role demands excellent communication skills to convey information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, ensuring that project goals are met. Additionally, experience with Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline Deployments, and automating IT operations tasks in complex compute environments is crucial for success in this position.
