KPMG is seeking a Manager, Cloud Platform Automation Developer to join our Global Information Technology Group, which is part of KPMG International. This role is pivotal in providing hands-on development and design of distributed, high-performance, and scalable Cloud Automation solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating automated unit tests, implementing functional classes and methods, and utilizing automated build and release management processes for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD). The position requires participation in an agile development process and building constructive working relationships across various teams, functions, and cultures, while demonstrating KPMG's core values and behaviors. The candidate will also need to maintain an awareness of potential interdependencies with other team members and their impact on project outcomes. The role demands a minimum of five years of recent experience in Cloud Platform development, with a strong focus on cloud and Azure services. The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or have relevant work experience. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as C# and Python, as well as automation scripting languages, is essential. The candidate will perform Infrastructure as Code, Pipeline Deployments, and automate IT Operations tasks and services in complex compute environments. Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey information clearly and effectively to stakeholders, ensuring that the desired outcomes are achieved. Additionally, hands-on experience with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure, is required.
