About the position

The Cloud Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer role is focused on developing and managing cloud infrastructure and applications using modern DevOps practices. The position requires expertise in container technologies, cloud service providers, and infrastructure as code, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous integration in a Linux environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and container-based technologies.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Write and maintain scripts in Python or Golang and Shell Scripting.
• Lead development projects in distributed enterprise environments.
• Set up new development projects using tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with teams using agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Manage and configure compute and storage infrastructure through RESTful APIs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of overall engineering experience.
• 4+ years of experience working with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong development skills in Python or Golang.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code/Terraform.
• Sound knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud computing.
• Proficiency with standard Linux command line and debugging tools.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Kubernetes ecosystem tools like Helm, Kustomize, OPA, FluxCD.
• Experience working with teams using agile practices.
• Knowledge of writing comprehensive unit tests and mocking external utilities.
